Just outside the bar is the Equinox deck with lava fire pit and a view of Equinox Mountain. The Falcon Bar got a darker look for a more intimate atmosphere to sample handcrafted cocktails, along with internationally- and Vermont-sourced cheeses and truffles. Getting a total makeover was the Chop House, adding banquette seating for enjoying a variety of prime-aged beef sourced from local farms, as well as fresh seafood, signature sides and house-made breads. The Marsh Tavern, serving New England pub fare for lunch and dinner, now features modern light fixtures, elegant seating and round tables. The hotel's five food-and-beverage outlets all have received upgrades.

Keeping the historical touches, the original antique key box has been mounted behind the front desk. The lobby now features a wine bar, and a restored gas chandelier from the 19th-century Opera House across the street has been hung in the Great Room lounge area. New furniture and soft goods reflect the property's grande-dame history blues and greys now accent the corridors.

"Like the 3,800-foot mountain that rises up behind the resort where we get our name, the Equinox has risen to new heights in celebrating its long history, our reputation as a wellness and outdoor sports destination, and our perfectly situated setting." "The Equinox Golf Resort & Spa has always been a living gallery of historic details which has now been brought to life with its inspired renovation," said Roger Aberth, general manager of the property.
